As part of artwork conservation procedures, our sculptor-casters make molds that pose no risk to the integrity of the museum’s originals.

Our casts can also complete a museum or exhibition display with the faithful reproduction of an artwork that is missing, no longer exists, or is too fragile to be loaned, or be used to create a tactile gallery, as has been done at the Musée du Louvre.

As well as plaster, the cast workshop makes reproductions in bronze or marble dust resin to order, using the molds in its collection. These materials, which are suited to outdoor display, guarantee the durability of the casts.

During its sculpture restoration campaign, the Château de Versailles commissioned reproductions in marble dust resin from us for its gardens. These casts were used as outdoor replacements for the originals, which are now kept inside.
